A TikTok Shop Partner (TSP) is an agency officially certified by TikTok to manage TikTok Shop operations on behalf of brands. TSPs are the official operating layer between TikTok and the brands that sell on Shop.
Becoming a TSP requires meeting minimum GMV thresholds, passing platform compliance reviews, and demonstrating operational capacity across creator networks, ads, and LIVE infrastructure. Approval typically takes 30–90 days through TikTok's Partner Center.
The result is a short list. Most agencies calling themselves "TikTok Shop agencies" are not TSPs. For brands, the difference is substantial.
TSPs have direct communication lines to TikTok Shop account managers, compliance teams, and product leads. When issues arise — a banned listing, a commission dispute, a platform bug — TSPs escalate directly.
Creators on a TSP-managed brand program can access commission tiers that aren't available through Open Plan. That means better creator participation without destroying brand margin.
New TikTok Shop features — LIVE Shopping Ads, Creator Matching updates, GMV Max enhancements — are rolled out to TSPs first. Brands working with a TSP are operating on the latest tools before competitors get them.
